In a California Healthline report by Deirdre Kennedy, public health experts discussed the threat to Californians from a type of mosquito new to the state. The report includes comments from:

  • Kim Keyser, biologist with the San Mateo County Mosquito and Vector Control District;
  • Scott Morrow, Public Health Officer for the San Mateo County Public Health Department;
  • Steve Mulligan, District Manager of the Consolidated Mosquito Abatement District of Fresno County; and
  • Russell Parman, Vector Control District Acting Manager for the Santa Clara County Vector Control District.
