Study: Many HIV/AIDS Patients Overweight, Obese

A study found that 46% of patients being treated for HIV/AIDS at two Navy clinics in San Diego and Maryland were overweight, and 17% of those were obese. The study’s author noted that physicians should start focusing on patients’ hearts, blood pressure and risk of cancer. San Diego Union-Tribune.
