Hill Physicians Medical Group Pilots EHR Program
Hill Physicians Medical Group, an independent practice association in Northern California, in March will launch what group officials say is the largest private online electronic medical records system and practice management system in the United States. The launch is part of the group’s effort to enable smaller physician practices to gain momentum in the push to automate records in a measured and cost-effective fashion.
California IPAs Take Increased Role in IT Adoption
A recent survey of physicians found wide gaps between small and large physician practices’ IT adoption. In California, several forces are attempting to change that, with large independent practice associations in the state beginning to play a larger role in shaping physicians’ IT uptake.
