How Much Will Your Premium Go Up Next Year?

 

Covered California announced Tuesday that its premiums will jump 13.2 percent on average in 2017.

Of the state’s 19 pricing regions, the area encompassing Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz counties will see the biggest change with a rate hike of 28.6 percent. The region that includes San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Merced, Mariposa and Tulare counties will see the lowest increase with 8.4 percent.
