Oakland Ordinance Requires Smoke-Free Units in All Apartment Buildings, Bans Smoking in Future Complexes
On Tuesday, the Oakland City Council passed an ordinance that requires apartment complex owners to ensure smoking is banned in some units and calls for a smoking ban at all future apartment complexes in the city. The measure applies to all tobacco, marijuana and e-cigarette products.
