Fountain Valley Officials Approve Ordinance Prohibiting Medical Marijuana Cultivation

On Tuesday, the Fountain Valley City Council voted to approve an ordinance banning all cannabis activity and cultivation in the city. Councilmember Mark McCurdy was the only member to vote against the recommendation, citing a concern that it would impede access to medical marijuana for individuals with legitimate medical needs.
