Alameda County Supervisor Proposes Ordinance To Force Drugmakers To Design, Pay for Rx Take-Back Program
Alameda County Supervisor Nate Miley has proposed a county ordinance that would require drugmakers to design and pay for a comprehensive prescription drug disposal program. The proposed ordinance would be the first prescription drug take-back program in the country that puts the responsibility of disposing medications solely with drug manufacturers.
