Calif. Seeking $190M To Aid Health Benefit Exchange
This week, state officials sent a funding request to the federal government for about $190 million to aid the California Health Benefit Exchange. State officials said they would use the money to help build an enrollment system for the exchange. According to Peter Lee, executive director of the exchange, the request was sent before the U.S. Supreme Court issued its ruling to uphold the federal health reform law.
