California Cancer Screening Program Aims To Address ACA Coverage Gap
A California cancer-screening program for women attempts to fill gaps in coverage created by the Affordable Care Act, particularly by providing care to undocumented immigrants. The program, called Every Women Counts, helps low-income women who are at least 40 years old receive breast exams and those who are at least 21 years old receive cervical exams.
