CARES: New Director to Head Sacramento Clinic
James Green, former COO and CFO for the Sacramento Radiology Medical Group, will take the helm of Sacramento's Center for AIDS Research, Education and Services (CARES), the Sacramento Bee reports. Green replaces Robert Caulk, who "resigned under pressure earlier this year after conflicts with some staff members." CARES Board President Janet Wagner said Green's degree in accounting and master's in health services administration made him "a strong candidate for the executive director's job." Through its association with University of California-Davis, the clinic offers medical, dental, pharmaceutical and social services for AIDS patients. It is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year (Hubert, Sacramento Bee, 6/18).
