First 5 Sacramento Makes $5.1M Available for Children’s Health, Dental and School Readiness Services

First 5 Sacramento has announced the availability of funding grants totaling $5.1 million to bolster child health, dental and school readiness services. The grants, which will start July 1, 2015, include $300,000 annually for health outreach, screening and use, $500,000 for dental outreach, screening and use, and $500,000 annually for community-based school readiness services.
