Fremont Temporarily Restricts Sale of E-Cigarettes

The Fremont City Council has imposed a 45-day ban on bars and retailers offering smokeless nicotine devices, such as e-cigarettes, but existing retailers will be allowed to remain in business. Owners of such businesses maintain that the smokeless devices can help consumers quit smoking cigarettes.
