KPCC’s ‘AirTalk’ Discusses Health Care Access for Uninsured Los Angeles County Residents
KPCC's "AirTalk" on Friday included a live discussion from the Los Angeles Free Clinic about providing health care for uninsured Los Angeles County residents. Participants discussed several topics, including methods of providing care through free health clinics and public-private partnerships, the diverse demographics of uninsured residents, challenges faced by the U.S. health care system and macroeconomic factors involved in providing local health care.
