Medi-Cal
The Assembly passed AB 2639 by Lloyd Levine (D-Van Nuys), and the bill now moves to the Senate (StateNet, Subscription required). The bill would allow Medi-Cal beneficiaries who have been approved to receive adult day health care services for fewer than five days per week to pay for additional day health care services out-of-pocket or by using grants from not-for-profit organizations (Bill text, 5/16).
