Study: Religion Plays a Role in Cancer Patients’ Treatment

A study published on Wednesday in the Journal of the American Medical Association found that patients with terminal cancer were nearly three times more likely to receive invasive treatments if religion played an important role in their decision. However, such treatments did not improve patients' long-term chances.
