24-Hour Mental Health Crisis Center Could Ease Patient Volume for Emergency Departments in Sacramento County
On Dec. 19, the Transitional Living & Community Support Mental Health Crisis Respite Center will open in East Sacramento. The opening could mitigate the volume of patients entering emergency departments in Sacramento County seeking mental health crisis care. The 24-hour mental health crisis respite center can accommodate up to 10 individuals experiencing a mental health crisis and will be open to Sacramento County residents ages 18 and older.
