Alameda County Board of Supervisors Seeks To Extend Safety-Net Sales Tax
On Tuesday, the Alameda County Board of Supervisors voted to place on the June ballot a measure that would extend until 2034 a half-cent sales tax to fund the county's health care safety net. The board will vote a second time next week to formally place Measure A on the June 3 primary ballot.
