AMA Names Madara as New CEO, Executive Vice President
Last week, the American Medical Association named James Madara as its new executive vice president and CEO. Madara -- a pathologist and former dean of the University of Chicago's Pritzker School of Medicine -- begins at AMA on July 1 and replaces Michael Maves, who has led the organization since 2001.
