Assembly, Senate Name Committee Chairs, Members

On Wednesday, Assembly Speaker Karen Bass (D-Los Angeles) announced committee chairs for the two-year session that began Dec. 1, 2008. Assembly member Dave Jones (D-Sacramento) will serve as chair of the Health Committee, while Assembly member Nathan Fletcher (R-San Diego) will serve as vice chair. Meanwhile, Senate President Pro Tempore Darrell Steinberg (D-Sacramento) on Tuesday named the full member roster of the Senate committees.
