Audioconference Scheduled To Discuss Responses to Rising Health Care Costs
The Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, the National Business Coalition on Health and the Pacific Business Group on Health announced Friday that a live, 90-minute audioconference on employer and health plan responses to rising health care costs will take place on July 30. The session will discuss projection and analysis of health care costs and premium changes; strategies used by employers and health plans; and employer and health plan case studies. Audioconference participants will include the following: Robert Galvin, director of Global Healthcare; Arnold Milstein, leader of National Healthcare Thought; Dana McNurty, vice president for health policy and analysis, Wellpoint; Jamie Robinson, professor of health economics at the School of Public Health, University of California-Berkeley; and John Iglehart, founding editor of Health Affairs.
