Audit: Sacramento County Meeting Mental Health Needs
A new audit from a private consultant and the California Department of Mental Health found that Sacramento County's mental health system has responded in innovative ways to the closure of a crisis unit and the loss of beds at another facility because of budget constraints. The audit concluded that the county is meeting the needs of mental health patients but that some patients have complaints about access to care.
