Butte County Launches New Mental Health Initiative
The Butte County affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness and local law enforcement have launched a new initiative aimed at improving interactions between first responders and individuals with mental illnesses. The initiative, which was successfully piloted in the county, provides individuals with mental illnesses cards that can contain information, such as their diagnosis, emotional triggers and emergency contacts.
