Cahuilla Elementary Student Diagnosed With Active TB
A Cahuilla Elementary student has been diagnosed with tuberculosis, officials said in a news release Thursday. The student, who has not been identified, has been treated for the illness and is expected to recover. Staff, parents and students who may have been exposed to tuberculosis will receive a letter advising them to get tested, according to Riverside University Health System authorities. (Ferreira, 6/9)
