Calif. Lawmakers Travel to Washington, D.C., To Lobby for Health Funds
This week, Assembly Speaker Karen Bass (D-Los Angeles) and a bipartisan delegation of state lawmakers will lobby federal officials to provide financial assistance for California health programs and other initiatives, the Sacramento Bee's "Capitol Alert" reports (Wiegand, "Capitol Alert," Sacramento Bee, 9/14).
