California Added New Health Services Jobs in August
Last month, California-based employers added 36,200 nonfarm payroll jobs, causing the unemployment rate to fall one percentage point to 6.1% in August, according to the latest data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The data show that the state's education and health services added 3,800 positions.
