California Lawmakers Weigh Options on Health Care Under New Budget
On Wednesday, California legislators discussed efforts to expand health insurance coverage only days after Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) signed a budget package that includes cuts to Medi-Cal and proposals to shift money from specials funds for mental health services and early childhood health care and education, according to KQED's "The California Report."
