California, Other States Sue Over Provider Conscience Rule
California is one of eight states suing over the provider conscience rule that allows health care workers to refuse to provide medical services that conflict with their religious beliefs. The rule was one of the "midnight regulations" signed in the last days of Bush's presidency.
