California Providers Report Few ICD-10 Transition Issues
California health care providers reported few problems after transitioning from ICD-9 to ICD-10 code sets. Molly Weedn, associate vice president of public affairs for the California Medical Association, said there have been some reports of claims denials related to coding errors, but most issues have been easily resolved between providers and insurers.
