California Unemployment Rate Falls to 7%, With Job Growth in Health Care, Other Sectors
California's unemployment rate dropped to 7% last month, with job growth in several sectors, including health care, according to the California Employment Development Department. The new unemployment rate is down from 8.3% a year earlier, but it is still higher than the national unemployment rate of 5.6%.
