California’s Population Gains 346K People in One Year
California's population increased by 346,000 people from July 1, 2014 to July 1, 2015, bringing the total population to just under 39.1 million, according to new data released Wednesday by the Department of Finance. Officials say the growth was caused by a "natural increase," resulting from a larger number of births than deaths.
