CDC Finds 90% Increase in New Adult Cases of Diabetes
The rate of adults diagnosed with new cases of diabetes has increased more than 90% in the last decade, according to CDC. In California, the rate of new diabetes cases increased from nearly seven in every 1,000 patients between 1995 and 1997 to nine in every 1,000 patients between 2005 and 2007, according to CDC.
