Children’s Health Coverage
A measure (SB 137) by Sen. Tom Torlakson (D-Antioch) drew a veto from the governor (Office of the Governor release, 10/10). The bill sought to expand eligibility for a state program that provides medical treatment for children with severe chronic diseases or physical disabilities (Bill Text, 9/11).
