Children’s Hospital Oakland Center Wins Stimulus Grants
Children's Hospital Oakland Research Institute has received eight federal economic stimulus grants from NIH worth $4.5 million to fund research. The largest grant, which is $1.3 million over two years, was given to Edward Lammer, who is leading research on the genetic and environmental causes of congenital heart defects.
