Cigna Agrees To Stop Using Reimbursement Database
On Tuesday, New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo (D) announced that Cigna has agreed to stop using a faulty database to calculate reimbursement rates for patients who seek out-of-network medical services and that the health insurer will contribute $10 million to a new independent payment database.
