CIRM Awards $36M in Grants for Stem Cell Research
On Wednesday, the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine announced that it has awarded more than $36 million in grants to physicians and scientists statewide for research of stem cell therapies for various types of diseases. The funding will provide the recipients' salaries and research support for up to five years.
