Court Blocks Sexual Orientation Conversion Treatment Ban To Give Opponents Time for Supreme Court Challenge
On Monday, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals blocked the enforcement of a state law (SB 1172) prohibiting sexual orientation conversion treatment for minors in order to give opponents 90 days to file an appeal over the legislation with the U.S. Supreme Court. The 9th Circuit Court in January refused to hear any additional challenges to the law.
