As of Oct. 14, more than 100,000 U.S. residents had completed applications for coverage through the Affordable Care Act's state-operated health insurance exchanges, and at least 38,000 had enrolled, according to data from 14 states collected by the Wall Street Journal. Federal officials said they will not release enrollment data for the federally run exchange -- which is operating in 36 states -- until next month.
