Dual eligibles who do not enroll in a Medicare prescription drug plan will be automatically assigned to a plan by federal officials.
The letters were sent in:

DHS is working with federal officials and the California Pharmacists Association to educate beneficiaries about the drug benefit.
Stan Rosenstein, state chief of Medi-Cal, said the state has about $4.5 million to spend on Part D education efforts (Weaver Teichert, Sacramento Bee, 9/4).
