Doctors and Nurses
Assembly member Hector De La Torre's (D-South Gate) bill (AB 10) was amended to require the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development to prepare a five-year report on the number of practicing physicians and surgeons statewide. The measure would permit state licensing boards to provide information on individual physicians to OSHPD upon request (Bill text, 6/23). The Senate Health Committee is considering the bill (Bill status, 6/23).
