DOWNEY COMMUNITY HOSPITAL: State AG Probes Hospital’s Finances
Downey Community Hospital's finances are under investigation by the state attorney general's office, the Los Angeles Times reports. Dan Miller, Downey chief administrator, said: "I'm absolutely convinced that they'll come up with nothing because there is nothing. It's probably a blessing in disguise. Maybe this will give more people an opportunity to see that everything's just fine" (6/16).This is part of the California Healthline Daily Edition, a summary of health policy coverage from major news organizations.
