DrFirst.com., iPhysicianNet Sign Comarketing Agreement
DrFirst.com and iPhysicianNet have agreed to co-market the iPhysicianNet network for electronic video detailing to more than 800 "qualifying" physicians in the Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. area. The joint venture will offer physicians DrFirst's Electronic Prescription Management System (Rcopia) in addition to iPhysicianNet's "high-speed" Internet access and a "physician-focused video computer" for e-Detailing. DrFirst.com CEO and Chair James Chen said, "The combination of DrFirst and iPhysicianNet's solutions results in a win-win scenario for both busy physicians and pharmaceutical companies as well as for office managers, pharmacies and patients." Ernie Zaik, iPhysicianNet vice president of physician recruiting and relations, said, "We look forward to combining the accessibility of Rcopia's online prescription system with the convenience of Web-based detailing to make a powerful impact on the pharmaceutical side of the health care community" (DrFirst.com/iPhysicianNet release, 1/16).
