• Jim Boren, Fresno Bee: "Schwarzenegger's plan may not be perfect, but it starts the discussion toward getting a solution to this crisis," Boren, editor of the Bee's editorial page, writes in his column. Boren cautions people not to "be surprised if nothing happens in the Legislature" because health care "is one of the most difficult issues to resolve, and there's no evidence that the state Senate or Assembly is up to the task" (Boren, Fresno Bee, 2/18).
