GOV. DAVIS: Appoints RN as Special Assistant
Gov. Gray Davis Wednesday announced the appointment of Eric Bauman, RN, as a special policy assistant. Bauman, who currently serves as a managing partner and nurse consultant for Consultants in Nursing Services Administration, will advise the governor on community issues in South California and will be based in the Los Angeles District Office. Bauman was formerly the director of nursing services for El Centro Regional Nursing Services and assistant director of nursing for the Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center. His appointment does not require Senate confirmation (Davis release, 7/7).
