Group Halts Pension Reform Ballot Measure Campaign
On Wednesday, the conservative group California Pension Reform suspended its campaign to place a public employee pension reform proposal on the November ballot because of fundraising problems and other issues. Group officials blamed the issues on a "false and misleading" summary of their proposal by the state Attorney General's office.
