Health Law To Boost Care for Black Residents, Leaders Say
Over the next few years, more than two million black Californians will have better access to health care because of the Affordable Care Act, state lawmakers and community health officials say. Sen. Curren Price and Darcel Lee of the California Black Health Network note that the law will help residents obtain no-cost preventive care and ensure health insurance for individuals with pre-existing conditions.
