House Passes Bill To Improve Veterans’ Mental Health Care
The House on Tuesday voted unanimously to pass legislation (HR 5059) that seeks to improve mental health care for veterans. The bill would revise discharge review requirements for veterans diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder or traumatic brain injury, among other things. It remains unclear whether the bill will pass the Senate before Congress' holiday recess.
