SB 1672 by Assembly member Abel Maldonado (R-San Luis Obispo) on April 6 was amended and re-referred to the Senate Health Committee. An April 19 hearing date was set for the bill. The bill would provide tax credits and low-interest loans to medical providers who invest in information technology.
