JOHNSON: HHS Post Confirmed by State Senate
Grantland Johnson yesterday was confirmed by the state Senate as Gov. Gray Davis' secretary of health and human services ( Sacramento Bee/Capitol Alert, 3/9). The senators unanimously voted for Johnson, who becomes the first African American to take the post.
