Kaiser Awards Aim To Boost Access to Care in Sacramento
Kaiser Permanente has awarded two Sacramento-area groups -- The Effort and the Sacramento Native American Health Center's Full Circle Chronic Disease Program -- $97,200 and $96,000, respectively, to improve access to care. The two groups will use the funds to help people with mental and chronic illnesses. Kaiser Permanente distributed a total of $1.1 million grants to 40 Sacramento groups to address health care and violence.
