Kaiser Permanente Announces $13 Million in Community Grants
On Tuesday, Kaiser Permanente announced the approval of $13 million in community grants in the first quarter, the San Francisco Business Times reports.
Kaiser officials said many of the grants are part of an effort aimed at improving access to specialty care and improving care for the elderly.
For example, Kaiser announced five grants totaling $4.5 million to support the California Specialty Care Access Initiative, a two-year statewide program that Kaiser leads (Rauber, San Francisco Business Times, 4/29).
